d-i-y health care plan
I’ve already gone to the doctor for my annual exam. I figured I’d go while I’m still working and I still have at least some insurance. Today I’m going to the eye doctor, and if I get another prescription for my contacts and eyeglasses, I’m going to have them filled as soon as possible, even though I don’t have vision insurance. And yes, in case you were wondering, I am going to find a dentist and make an appointment as soon as possible, even though I don’t have dental insurance. While I’m working, I can pay for these things. With today’s check, I will finish off reaching the goal for my emergency fund savings. After paying my bills, instead of putting more money in the My Own Home account, I will just hold onto whatever money I have left, so that I can pay to get all checked out before losing my income and insurance.
