I was thinking about getting a part time job to combat this feeling (with a little &quot;surprise money&quot;), but I'm not sure it's the right way to go.</description>

					<description>I think this is actually the toughest part of finance, and why other people people are easily taken in by &quot;gurus&quot; who are really hucksters: the good stuff that works gets pretty boring.  It's pay the bills, make sure there's enough left over and that the leftovers go to the right place.  Rinse. Repeat.  

That's why I read blogs.  Other blogs give me ideas for what to do next, or remind me of other aspects of finance that I've forgotten, or just give me that extra kick of ooomph to keep on truckin'.  </description>
