make groceries
By "make groceries," I don’t mean manufacture groceries, I mean go to the store and buy them (it’s a Southern expression). If you don’t have food at home then you will spend money to eat out. I know you know this just like how I know this, but sometimes we don’t act on what we know.
Take myself for an example. This weekend marks the second weekend in a row that Mister Ant and I have not gotten around to making groceries, and I am tired of eating out for lunch. I don’t like spending the money, and I don’t like how unhealthy the cheaper lunches are. I’m either losing too much money or too much health, and sometimes I’m losing both battles. It could be why my complexion hasn’t been in good shape lately. So, when I come home from work tonight, I’m going to have to get in the car and make it happen, because this is unacceptable.
Time to get on the ball and go make groceries.
