wonders never cease
After years and years of being embarrassingly cheap, I never cease to amaze myself with the things I’ll do to keep from spending money. My latest not-so-harebrained Lucy scheme?
Podcasts.
Yeah, I know, I’m late. So what? *Shrug* It’s news to me. I mean, I’ve known about podcasts before. I’ve even subscribed before. But they didn’t become important to me until I realized that I really, really want new music to listen to throughout my work day. There are so many CDs that I would buy if you just let me loose and said, "Girrrl, that house ain’t going nowhere! Get yourself some CD’s and enjoy your life!" Instead, I have decided to get back into subscribing to podcasts. That way, I get new music that’s free and doesn’t require that I "cheat" on my house by breaking my vow to save aggressively for it.
I feel smart. And faithful, too!
