I was looking at houses last night again. Looks like they’re selling quickly in my favorite potential neighborhood. Almost seems like one week they’re there, and the next, they’re not. The bad news is, if I see something I really want, I’ll have to be aggressive on pricing and making an offer. The good news is, it’s a desirable neighborhood.
As I was discussing with my readers in the comments section of yesterday’s blog, I’m open to investigating alternative means of financing my home since I’m a first time home buyer. I checked out NACA and ACORN and found very little information on their local organizations online (I hate that - virtually everyone has access to computers now. They should just lay it all out for you on websites.) I don’t have the time to really investigate during business hours. So this may have to wait until I actually do have time out from work. We’ll see…
