it’s today!!!
I have been waiting for this day for MONTHS.
Today is extra paycheck day! *insert cartwheels here*
Today I get to hurt my bank’s feelings by making a big fat payment on my old credit card debt. I get to make a mockery out of the interest they plan on charging me this month. I get to further destroy their expectation that they will get thousands of dollars in interest payments off of my debt at my expense.
And it’s been a long time - years - since my old credit card debt was this low. If I can get it here, I can get it to zero.
And if I can get my debt to zero, I can certainly get my house’s down payment together. (I am always looking down the road.)
This is why I take my lunch to work. This is why I do my own hair. This is why I shop at R.oss instead of N.ordstrom’s. It does pay off!
